Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka was born in Minsk. Sergey Her father (who died in 2019), was an ice-hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born in Minsk on 5 May 1998. Aryna Sabalenka has 12 WTA Singles titles, one of which was crowned 'Grand Slam' at the Australian Open 2023. As a doubles player, she's also a great player. She's been a winner of two Majors in the past with Elise Mertens. They won her US Open in 2019 and the Australian Open in 2021. With her fellow Belgian tennis champion, the Belgian also took home the WTA 1000 in Indian Wells as well as Miami in 2019, thus completing an appearance in the Sunshine Double. This feat was only achieved by four couples playing in the women's doubles. There were only four couples who achieved this feat when playing women's doubles. Following her victory at the Melbourne doubles tournament in February of 2021 She was able to move up the rankings to take the first spot in that specialty. Dmitry Tursunov, a former Russian tennis star, coached her during the 2018 season until the close of her 2020 campaign. Dieter Kindlmann was her coach from the month of August through September 2020. Her training has been provided by her fellow hero Antonio Dubrov since the end of 2020. Serena Williams & Maria Sharapova have been her inspirations.
